The relationship between ESPN host, Jemele Hill and podcast service giant, Spotify has evolved from a channel and into a podcast network.
The Unbothered Network is focused on Black women.
“There’s so much about the lives of Black women that hasn’t been fully explored, and so many of our stories have either been dismissed or overlooked,” said Hill. “I’m also proud of this network because it not only centers (on) Black women, but it’s also run by Black women. We can’t empower Black women if we’re not positioning them in leadership roles.”
Specific shows have not yet been announced, although executive producer and head of content Christina Tapper promised “a variety of formats and genres”.
