In Q4 2021, Snap (maker of Snapchat) recorded its first-ever net profit of $22.6m. The profit was achieved by a 42% revenue increase to $1.3bn and an increase in app users. The mobile app ended in 2021 with daily active users of 319 million (20% YoY).
“In Q4 2021, 25 different Discover partners each reached over 50 million unique Snapchatters globally, including Universal Music’s Rebel Labs, social publisher Jungle Creations’ lifestyle content, and Team Whistle’s sports content.” The statement was made about the app’s ‘Discover’ feature.
