New Music: No Love – Wrong Sequence

Share

No Love is an African/UK drill (afrosequence) song by Wrong Sequence which highlights the beautiful bittersweet challenging experience of growing in Port Harcourt; unfortunate life-shaping events, reassessment of decisions and lifestyle, finding purpose, adding value to life/living and self-validation. Wrong Sequence is a fast-rising independent alternative/afrofusion (afrobeat, pop, rnb, jazz, reggae & hiphop) music duo & and outside-the-box multi-faceted creatives from Eleme/ Port Harcourt in Rivers State, Nigeria. Individually, they are N4 (Ngei Oneneobari Nwator) and Pi (Pronounced as P-I, Ngei Paul Obarichuremi) and they are tapping into their talents and purpose in life which is to spread love, light, peace and happiness while aspiring to make a change to the future of the world (Youths) by sharing stories, experiences and giving them a reason to have hope for better times through Art and Music.

No Love is Wrong Sequence’s second release this year, and the duo raps about bittersweet, hard truths and experiences over a hardcore bumpy drill beat that exudes excitement fit for working out, likewise it carries a pint of dark emotions with it, which triggers a nostalgic trip, causing them to spill the tea while hoping to create a path to greatness with their talent, grit and phenomenal energy. No Love carries a touch of comedy and experimental rap; with voice tweaks and African funny mimicry slang (lamba)

No Love is an African drill song which delves into the conversation of feeling unappreciated, unloved and hurt, despite efforts to intentionally spread love, sacrifices made in love, efforts we put into creating previous records, incurring expenses to show up & perform with energy at gigs all for free, the result of that feeling catalytically caused us to adjust and focus on self-improvement which led to the creation of this masterpiece to channel our energy into positivity.
