The Second Edition of our moving festival is 15th-21st May 2023 (International Hip Hop Appreciation Week) as we celebrate 50 years of Hip Hop Culture worldwide, bringing our close and distant relatives on a 7-day journey to the intangible cultural heritage across 4 regions in Uganda.
With over 300 local and international artists and culturalists, 5 elements of Hip Hop, and traditional cultural expressions; Authentic Voices Africa brings you a unique approach and experience to our indigenous culture, continues to affirm our ancestral assignment to share knowledge, preserve culture, celebrate our Voices, reconnect to our roots and reclaim our identity.
