Well, all of Oliday’s idea in the second verse is how he’s lived life as a rapper and how uneasy it’s been. He then puts Wizkid in the position of his Ex in other not to sound rude/disrespectful. Oliday had a short talk on how street-hop took chances and pulled ahead of hip-hop while it slept. Yet, the stubborn genre continues to thrive in its hibernation state.
His partner, Erad, did his thing by turning metaphorical parts and punchlines, and Oliday’s outro had the voice of Kendrick speaking on hip-hop in an interview.
