YBNL Boss, Olamide announced via his Instagram page his 9th studio album, UY SCUTI. The album is set to be released on June 18th, 2021. UY Scuti is a red supergiant star. It is one of the largest known stars. An album title for an industry giant.
Olamide has come a long way since the release of Eni Duro, back in 2010. He has gone on to release 11 projects – 8 LPs, 1 EP, and 2 collaborative projects – to date. The rapper released Carpe Diem, October 2020 and is already set to release his 12th project 8 months later.
The Bariga raised rapper was known for his consistency to release at least one project a year from 2011 to 2017, before he took a break from that schedule. He returned with an EP, 999, in 2020.
