SoundCloud has confirmed Eliah Seton as its next president effective May 1, 2021. He will manage the streaming giant’s business strategy, oversee content partnerships and business development, lead mergers and acquisitions, responsible for SoundCloud‘s distribution and artist services businesses, Repost by SoundCloud and Repost Select.
Seton, a widely respected Warner Music Group veteran, will report to the Chief Executive Officer, Michael Weissman. Before leaving Warner Music, he was President of Independent Music & Creator Services overseeing ADA Worldwide, Asylum Records, Level and Arts Music.
ADA Worldwide expanded on a global scale; Latin America, Asia, and Europe. It tripled in size under Seton‘s guidance since 2015.
