Video conference software company, Zoom, which grew worldwide due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions is creating a dedicated platform for events. Prior to this announcement, the video conference has been used for meetings, Q&A, seminars, workshops, and performances.
Zoom Events allows users to create multi-session events with virtuals lobbies that allow networking and also make provision for ticketing and registration. This cuts off the need for Eventbrite type of services in order to set up sessions on Zoom.
Currently, Zoom Events focuses more on corporate events, and we believe that Live Music event type of platform isn’t far off.
