Over the last few months, No Dayz Off become a mantra within the crew as a reminder of where we’re coming from, where we’ve been and where we’re headed. It’s intertwined with the songs on the project in the way that they were conceptualized, recorded and completed.
The recordings took place during different production/recording camps we held in Abuja, KD and Jos over the course of a year and a half. It’s a testament to the work ethic and going in on any given day. I’m talking about grind, dedication and showing out when it’s necessary.
No Dayz Off is basically a recollection of my experiences to paint a picture that everybody on their hustle can relate to around the world. Finally, it is a message to everyone watching, to everyone listening that nothing comes easy to anyone.
