Meta kicked off another test that is set to be beneficial for the music industry.
The Tech giant launched the NFTs feature on Facebook. The test was rolled out to a small group of creators who could display their NFTs on a new tab on their profile pages. This feature creates an opportunity for artistes to share their NFTs with their audience, who can make purchases. A similar feature test was rolled out in May on Facebook’s sister app, Instagram.
Instagram is testing another feature that automatically turns videos into Reels. According to a source on TechCrunch, “We’re testing this feature as part of our efforts to simplify and improve the video experience on Instagram.”
This feature eliminates the quandary that comes with choosing between posting your videos as standard videos or Reels.
