85% of new podcast shows are made by Spotify’s podcast-making app, Anchor. Howbeit, Spotify has begun tests of recording and uploading podcasts from within its app.
The test is ongoing in New Zealand, and TechCrunch provided details of it. The feature also includes Spotify’s Music + Talk, which enables podcasters to add music from its (Spotify) catalogue to their podcast, according to a video by Spotify’s New Zealand Twitter account.
