Lil Uzi Vert is back with some new music and he’s ready to share it with his fans. The rapper took to Instagram Live on Tuesday to preview a track from his forthcoming mixtape, which he said is coming soon.
The song, which has no official title yet, features Uzi’s signature melodic flow and catchy hooks over a hard-hitting beat. Uzi raps about his lavish lifestyle, his love for diamonds and his loyalty to his crew. He also references his previous mixtapes, such as Luv Is Rage and Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World, and hints at some collaborations with other artists.
Uzi’s fans were excited to hear the snippet and expressed their anticipation for the mixtape in the comments. Some speculated that the mixtape could be a sequel to one of his previous projects, such as The Real Uzi or 1017 vs. The World. Others wondered if the mixtape would include songs that Uzi had teased before, such as “Dolly” or “Chrome Heart Tags”.
Uzi has been keeping his fans on their toes with his music releases. His last album, Eternal Atake, was one of the most anticipated albums of 2020 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
