Finally!! Queen’s hip-hop Legend, Nas, is set to appear on M.I’s next project, The Guy.
M.I‘s fifth studio album and thirteenth project, The Guy, will be available on all streaming platforms and music stores on August 19th. Upon releasing the album’s second single, The Guy, earlier today, a glimpse of the album’s guest list was visible, and a surprise guest appearance was noticed.
This isn’t the first time M.I and Nas have been in the news. This feature has been expected since The Chairman album in 2014. Word on the street was that M paid Nas for a feature, Nas sent his verse, M rejected it, and Nas ghosted M. A legal battle (unconfirmed info) ensued, and he’s finally got his verse. He pairs Nas’ verse with our commercially successful hip-hop artiste in Nigeria, Olamide.
Other guest artistes on the forthcoming album include Jesse Jagz, Ice Prince, Lord Vino, Wande Coal, Duncan Mighty, Ossi Grace, Tomi Owó, Bnxn, and Chillz; who featured on the album’s first single, Daddy.
The new music comes off rumours about M.I’s last collaborative project, Behold the Lamb, with former label mates – A-Q, Loose Kaynon, and Blaqbonez. They were accused of down pricing Mizzle‘s (a producer) price list by ~90% and then went ahead to recreate the beat on their own.
These accusations have neither been denied nor confirmed by the group (management and members).
