ICE PRINCE ARRESTED–TO BE ARRAIGNED FOR ASSAULT ON POLICE OFFICER

Rap superstar Ice Prince Zamani has been arrested by the Nigerian Police Force.

At 3am today, @Iceprincezamani was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station. He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today. pic.twitter.com/jLazuYOUal

The Oleku crooner was said to have assaulted, kidnapped, and threatened to throw a police officer into a river after he was stopped for driving his vehicle without registered license plates. The Lagos State Police Command‘s Public Relations Officer, SP Hundeyin announced the arrest via his official twitter handle, where he also claimed there is video evidence of the event.

No official statement or comment from the rapper’s camp yet on the event, but police say he will be arraigned today before a Magistrate today.
